About Us
Our Story
Founded in 2006, Sole Impulse Dance Studio has grown from a small storefront in Dawsonville into one of North Georgia’s most respected and recognized dance studios. What began as a passion project quickly blossomed into a vibrant community for dancers of all ages and skill levels.
In 2008, Sole Impulse relocated to Cumming, Georgia, to meet the needs of a growing student base. Over the next decade, the studio became known for its excellence in instruction, strong family environment, and high-achieving competition teams. In 2021, we proudly returned to our hometown of Dawsonville, now located at 124 Storage Way, Suite 140.
A Legacy of Excellence
Sole Impulse is the proud home of the award-winning Synergy Cloggers, which has earned over 20 national titles and television recognition over the years. Synergy has been featured on TLC’s Down South Dance and continues to be a dominant force in competitive clogging and contemporary dance.
Throughout its history, Sole Impulse has been led by a series of talented and passionate owners and directors. Their shared commitment to building confident, skilled dancers lives on today through our staff, students, and families.
Our Mission
At Sole Impulse, our mission is to offer high-quality dance education in a supportive, encouraging, and family-friendly atmosphere. We believe dance teaches more than steps. It instills discipline, builds self-esteem, and creates lasting friendships.
We welcome dancers of all ages and backgrounds and offer classes in a wide range of styles, including:

Ballet
Whether your dancer is just starting out or training for the national stage, we have a place for them to grow and shine.
