Performance & Competitive Background

Katelynn has danced in iconic venues and major competitions across the country. She’s performed for the Atlanta Braves, competed at the prestigious World of Dance, and helped lead teams to multiple national titles in both Clogging Champions of America (CCA) and America’s Clogging Hall of Fame (ACHF).

Her choreographic work has also gained recognition, with several of her routines earning overall titles at regional competitions; a major milestone in her growth as an instructor.

Meet Mrs. Katelynn

Katelynn Bearden is the heart behind Sole Impulse Dance Studio. At just 23 years old, she brings a decade of experience, a national championship résumé, and a deep-rooted passion for the Dawsonville dance community.

After learning her first clogging step on the playground in fourth grade, Katelynn fell in love with dance, and never looked back. She trained, competed, performed, and eventually took the reins of the studio that helped shape her into the artist and leader she is today.

Teaching Philosophy

More than anything, Katelynn believes in creating a space where dancers feel confident, supported, and inspired. Her classes are a mix of hard work, laughter, and encouragement, designed to push students technically while helping them fall in love with dance.

Outside the Studio

When she’s not dancing, Katelynn is a proud wife to her husband Eli and the mom of three adorable fur babies: Grassy, Astro, and Luna. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and (of course) hanging out with Mickey Mouse whenever she gets the chance.

She’s incredibly thankful to the SID parents and families who show up, cheer loud, and make the Sole Impulse community so special. Your support means the world to her.

I started as a little girl who loved to dance and ended up owning the studio I grew up in. That’s something I’ll never take for granted. Watching my students shine on stage or gain confidence in class is why I do this, and I can’t wait to see where we go next. Thank you for trusting me with your dancers.
